The Team of MUST, Mirpur AJ&K secures the UK Alumni Climate Action Grant 2025 the project being recognised amongst the World’s 20 most impactful Climate Initiatives, the team has singularly been honoured as One of the only Three laureate teams from Pakistan

The Team of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious British Council’s UK Alumni Climate Action Grant 2025 a remarkable achievement that firmly establishes MUST on the Global innovation Map. Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor MUST lauded Engr. Prof. Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber & his team for their outstanding success and for projecting MUST onto the international stage through their exceptional performance & initiative. The winning team led by Engr. Prof. Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber & supported by members Dr. Mohsin Zafar & Dr. Saira Farooq Shah earned this recognition for their project which is among only 20 selected Globally & one of just three from Pakistan. This accomplishment brings immense pride not only to Mirpur University but also to the entire Nation. This success was further reinforced by the pivotal role of the Business Incubation Center (BIC) of Mirpur University. The BIC’s involvement was essential in aligning the project with the high international standards required to secure this highly competitive global grant. The Directors of ORIC and BIC congratulated the MUST team for their exceptional achievement and assured continued support for the project.
