Introduction

The primary objective of the Department of Education within any community is to cultivate a cadre of well-qualified and proficient teachers. Teaching is considered a revered profession, requiring not only a mastery of subject matter but also a composed demeanor and a strong commitment to nation-building. The Department of Education endeavors to instill a teaching ethos in its students, expecting them to embrace the same enthusiasm that future educator must possess. The scheme of study undertaken has been designed according to the specified guidelines of HEC. Established in 2019, the Department of Education is located within the premises of Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST) Pallandri Campus, situated in Pallandri (AJ&K). For the past four years, the Department of Education has remained at the forefront of excellence, earning its reputation as a leading force within the Campus. Its primary aim is to develop an educational program that equips the younger generation with the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitudes to contribute effectively and adeptly to society and the environment.

Mission

To facilitate the process of learning through provision of quality education as a main tool and ensure development of effective communication skills with the ability to think objectively and develop a mind with curiosity coupled with sense of innovation and creativity. Inculcate human values and character traits in the students to make them competitive in the challenging field of cognitive science.
