National Agriculture Education Arecdation Council (NAEAC) visited Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur AJ&K to evaluate the quality and standards of Human Nutrition and Dietetics education at Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of Mirpur University.

NAEAC team lead by Dr. Abdul Ghaffar, Secretary NAEAC and Dr. Rai Muhammad Aamir, NAEAC expert were received by Prof. Dr. Khizar-ul-Haq, Registrar MUST, Prof. Dr. Anwer Khitab, Dean, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Dr. Sumaira Irum Khan, Coordinator, Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Dr. Mian Muhammad Zeeshan Javiad, Chairperson, Department of Pharmacy. The meeting was conducted in the Confernce room of Electrical Engineering Department. The meeting was started with the name of Allah Almighty.

Prof. Dr. Anwer Khitab welcomed the guests formally and gave them an overview about the University history, Departments, faculties & available facilities at campus. Afterwards, Dr. Abdul Ghaffar NAEAC Secretary briefed about NAEAC mission, vision, registration protocols, visit agendas. Later Dr. Sumaira Irum Khan Coordinator Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics gave the overview of the department mission, vision, teaching faculty, classrooms, and lab facilities, budget, MOU With the hospital and students strength. Representatives of QEC and ORIC were also present in the meeting. They addessed the questions related to their domains. NAEAC Secretary and expert took a keen interest in the discussion and appreciated the university management.

Then, the team visited the main library, CMS, QEC and ORIC offices. The NAEC team also visited the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics where they were engaged in various activities, including interaction with students, visit of classroom laboratories, and library.
NAEAC team interacted with department Faculty and went through course files.
The discussions revolved around curriculum design, teaching methodologies, research initiatives, university facilities, and the overall learning environment.

The council team had a meeting with Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI, Vice Chancellor Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K and appreciated for running the successful degree program and suggested the improvements in the system. The visit concluded with a positive note of encouragement and appreciation.
